On the 30th of December 2008 Elzamech Foundry Sp. z o. o. signed the contract for refunding Nr UDA-POIG.04.04.00-28-008/08-00 within activity 4.4 New investments with high innovation potential of priority axis 4 - Investments in innovative ventures of Operation Program of Innovative Economy 2007-2013.

The entire cost for realization of project: 10 462 885 PLN herein qualified expenses: 8 576 135 PLN.

The grant's value: 5 121 281 PLN.

However on the second cupola furnace there will be dismantled a dry magneto and it will be replaced with the wet dust collector.

The newly installed furnace will become the main furnace for melting.

The project carried out will permit us to market new products of the nodular cast iron of the weight up to 20 tons. These castings will be made by employment of a new furnace and the current induction furnaces 5 Mg and 6 Mg.

These products will be delivered among others for needs of the turbine industry and wind power stations.

Thanks to this project we will reduce the number of working hours of the cupola furnace and we will limit emission of dusts into
the atmosphere of about 80%.

In the scope of investment project named "Implementation of modern integrated cast iron melting system" up to date it was executed:

• dismantling of one cupola,
• assembling of wet duster on the second cupola,
• the sign of contract with ENERGA OPERATOR S.A. for power-cable terminal,
• the sign of contract with Otto Junker (Germany) for furnace delivery,
• the sign of contract with Ferro-Masz company from ŁódĽ for furnace assembling, execution of charge area and assembling of medium voltage 15kV switchgear
• the sign of contract with Engineering-Technical Company TELTOR-POL North S.A. from Gdańsk for execution of medium voltage 15kV power-cable terminal for power supply to induction furnace 12t/4.5MW

The completion of this investment is planned by the end of year 2011.
