Quality tests

We secure a wide range of casting tests (chemical, metallographic, resistance, flaw detection) as well as technical counselling and consultations in founding. We exploit the modern equipment for controlling the chemical composition of liquid metal, for performing non-destructive, metallographic and resistance testing.

Devices owned by the plant ("ELZAMECH" Foundry):

• PROCEQ EQUOTIP hardness testing machine,
• BAIRD DV-4 Spectrometer,
• LECO CS-244 analysing machine,
• SCRATA surface evaluation standards in line with ASTM A 802 norm,
• LIST-MAGNETIK MEGA-CHECK measuring device for paint coating thickness evaluation.

Devices for NDT tests applied by our suppliers:

• SONATEST SS240 reflectoscope ( for UT testing),
• MY-2 stream flaw detector ( for MT testing).

Devices for metallographic testing applied by our suppliers:

• JOEL JSM-35C scanning microscope,
• REICHERT MeF2 optic microscope,
• OPTN AXIOSKOP microscope with MINI-MOP vision analysing device,
• ZWICK 3212 hardness testing machine,
• SPECTROPORT 1 portable emission spectrometer,
• PSM-2 portable microscope.

Devices for resistance testing applied by our suppliers:

• INSTRON 1341 static and fatigue resistance machine with equipment for testing in minus
  and increased temperatures,
• AMSLER 200KN resistance device with equipment for increased temperature stretching testing,
• WPM ZD20, ZD 100, ZDM10 resistance devices,
• ZWICK 1445 universal resistance device,
• Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell stationary hardness testing devices,
• ZWICK 5111-300J percussive hammer,
• Six-stand creep-testing machines ( maximum temperature 600 degrees C).
